I am planning to install a high-temperature exhaust system for a commercial boiler installation and would like to confirm whether this IVAR.INOX pipe, made from AISI 316L stainless steel with a diameter of 88.9mm and a wall thickness of 2mm, is suitable for flue gas applications involving condensate exposure over extended periods of operation.

Yes, AISI 316L is a low-carbon grade of stainless steel specifically chosen for its improved resistance to corrosion, including the kind of acidic condensate you get in flue gas systems. The 2mm wall thickness on an 88.9mm pipe gives you solid structural durability for that kind of installation. Each length is 6 metres, which is useful for longer runs with fewer joints. If you need fittings or connectors to go with it, we carry the rest of the IVAR.INOX range as well.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.

The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders.
