The Vaillant uniTOWER system (in the plus and Split plus versions) is a compact hydraulic module in the shape of a tower with a footprint comparable to a standard refrigerator, which in one housing combines a hot water tank with a volume of 190 l, a complete heating hydraulic system, a backup electric heater, and a control unit. The module is connected in the aroTHERM / aroTHERM plus / aroTHERM Split system to an external (or internal, in the Split version) air-to-water heat pump unit and is responsible for distributing heat to the heating circuit and preparing hot water. That is why, since most components are integrated directly in the tower body, Vaillant offers a range of supplementary, connecting, and service parts for the module, which allow the hydraulics to be adapted to a specific installation – ceiling height, connection side, hot water circulation needs, or additional hydraulic separation of circuits.
