Wall heating for residential rooms.
Wall heating is a less common way of heating houses or flats. The main differences compared to underfloor or radiator heating are that with wall heating the heated surface area is many times larger. This way we achieve faster and more even heating of the whole room.
Wall heating consists of pipe with a diameter of 10 mm, which is laid into fixing rails that are attached to the rough structure, for example brickwork or masonry. Once the pipe is laid into the fixing rail, plaster can be applied.
Wall heating is controlled by means of a main manifold and subsequently by smaller manifolds designed for the purpose. The length of one loop should not exceed 50 metres, and both loops should be approximately the same length.
Wall heating is installed using the HEPWORTH DIY heating installation system. No tools are required for this type of heating. Every joint can be taken apart and reconnected multiple times.
