Sale from Official Slovak Distribution

We sell Vaillant and Protherm products from official Slovak distribution

No grey imports! So what is this about?

The manufacturer of Vaillant and Protherm condensing boilers produces several versions of these condensing or gas boilers for European markets.

These versions of the same appliances often differ from one another. They may be adapted for a specific market, meaning they meet different technical parameters and standards required by other EU countries. For example, a different gas pressure, flue solution, safety parameters, or different accessories supplied.

Some sellers and various online stores may buy these products directly from the manufacturer and offer them with technical parameters intended for a market other than Slovakia or the Czech Republic.

How can I tell that an e-shop is offering Protherm and Vaillant boilers not intended for our Slovak market?

The online store has no original photographic or documentation content from the manufacturer. This means the e-shop does not have original photos of Protherm and Vaillant products. It has no manufacturer-provided technical parameters or descriptions published for the products. (the e-shop does not have permission from the manufacturer to publish these materials)
The registered office and billing address of the online store is in a country other than Slovakia, even though it offers products in our countries.
Often a very suspicious offer.

What about warranty claims for a Protherm or Vaillant boiler not intended for the Slovak or Czech market?

The main disadvantage is that the boiler cannot be claimed under warranty directly with the manufacturer, only through the given seller. By law these sellers must provide servicing, which is usually carried out through unauthorised service companies. Warranty claims with these sellers are often problematic. These sellers sometimes reserve a longer period for handling complaints in their terms and conditions. The boiler can also be repaired at an authorised service centre, but the owner must pay for this repair themselves.
Because of problems with warranty claims, sellers often change operator, and it can happen that by the time your appliance breaks down, your seller no longer exists. Claiming warranty service can then be difficult.
Sellers may also have shortened the standard two-year warranty period. The boiler may be sold by them under a special legal regime as a second-hand/clearance item.

Other condensing and gas boilers of other brands (apart from those mentioned above) are not manufactured for our market. It is therefore very unlikely that such grey imports would be offered.
