Three-channel wireless receiver for switching appliances according to time...
Atria.sk is an online shop focused exclusively on heating technology – from heat sources (gas condensing boilers, heat pumps, electric boilers) through heat emitters and distribution systems (radiators, underfloor heating, pipework) to photovoltaics, air conditioning and all the accessories needed for a complete heating installation in a flat, a family house or a smaller commercial building.
Heat sources
The core of our range. The widest choice is offered by condensing boilers (Bosch, Protherm, Vaillant, Viessmann, Buderus, Attack and other brands, in versions with flow-through heating, with a storage tank and in complete sets), complemented by older low-temperature boilers, electric boilers and convectors (suitable where there is no gas connection) and floor-standing boilers and storage tanks including solid fuel boilers. There is also growing interest in heat pumps as an alternative or a complement to gas, especially in new buildings and in combination with renewable energy sources.
Hot water preparation
If you are dealing with domestic hot water heating separately, here you will find storage tanks and water heaters of various capacities as well as instantaneous water heaters for smaller draw-off points.
Heat emitters and distribution
Classic panel radiators as well as ladder (bathroom) radiators can be found in the radiators section; for surface heating choose underfloor heating (system boards, pipes, manifolds). The heating distribution itself is handled by pipes for water and heating and couplings and pipe fittings, complemented by brass and stainless steel manifolds (including cabinets for them). Professional installers and companies also appreciate the separate sections professional heating (IVAR) and HEPWORTH heating for DIY installation.
Renewable sources and air conditioning
Our range also includes photovoltaics and solar sets and collectors for heating water with solar energy, as well as air conditioners and dehumidifiers for cooling and humidity control in summer.
Controls and accessories
Room thermostats and controls (conventional, programmable as well as WiFi/smart) allow you to manage your heating costs precisely. We also offer circulation pumps, pressure and expansion vessels, backup power supplies for boilers and pumps (important during power outages), buffer tanks and resistance heating cables to protect pipes and gutters against freezing. Related sections are also domestic water supply systems and water filtration and bathroom, sanitary ware and taps.
When making your choice, do not hesitate to rely on our many years of experience – we will help you determine the suitable type of heat source and its output according to your building, advise you on the compatibility of components and, if you are interested, also recommend installation partners in your region. Practical guides and tips can also be found in the interesting articles section.
Frequently asked questions
- Which heat source should I choose – a gas boiler, a heat pump or an electric boiler? It depends mainly on the availability of a gas connection, the size and insulation of the building and your budget. A gas condensing boiler has a lower purchase price and is a proven solution especially for renovations, a heat pump is more advantageous in the long term for well-insulated new buildings without a gas connection, and an electric boiler is suitable as a simple solution for smaller spaces or as a backup source.
- Can several heat sources be combined at once, for example a boiler and photovoltaics? Yes, a common combination is a gas boiler with photovoltaics and a heat pump for water heating, or a boiler with solar collectors – such a solution reduces operating costs and decreases dependence on a single energy source.
- Does atria.sk also provide installation of the purchased goods? Not directly, we are an online retailer and the customer arranges the installation through their own heating engineer or electrician. However, we will gladly recommend verified installation partners in your region.
- How do I find out what output of heat source I need? As a rough guide, approximately 1 kW per 10 m² of heated area is calculated for a normally insulated house; the exact output should, however, be confirmed by a heat loss calculation or by our expert advice – an incorrectly sized heat source is in fact the most common cause of higher operating costs.
- Do you also offer goods for professionals and installation companies? Yes, the sections Professional heating (IVAR) and HEPWORTH heating are aimed precisely at complete installation systems for companies and more experienced DIY installers.
- Is it possible to obtain a state subsidy for heating technology? For some heat sources (for example heat pumps, biomass boilers, photovoltaics) it may be possible to draw a subsidy from state renewable energy programmes – we recommend verifying the current conditions directly before purchase, as they change over time.
