- What is the difference between a mixing and a diverting (ROTODIVERT) valve? A mixing valve (e.g. EUROMIX) smoothly blends two flows into one outlet, whereas a diverting valve (ROTODIVERT) splits/switches one flow between two branches of the circuit.
- What does the kvs value of a valve mean? Kvs is the flow coefficient - it indicates the water flow rate in m3/h at a pressure drop of 1 bar with the valve fully open; a higher kvs means a greater flow capacity.
- Is a separate actuator needed for each valve? Yes, the actuator must be compatible with the specific valve body (mounting mechanism and torque) - combine parts recommended by the manufacturer.
