- Heating cable or heating mat - which to choose? A cable is suitable for irregular room layouts (it is laid out freely), while a mat is faster to install on larger, regular areas.
- Do I need thermal insulation under electric heating? Yes, an insulation board/foil prevents heat loss downwards and speeds up the heating start-up.
- What output do I need for electric underfloor heating? As the main heat source, count on approx. 100-150 W/m²; as supplementary heating (e.g. in a bathroom), 100-130 W/m² is enough.
