Buffer tanks, vessels and cylinders for heating, connected to boilers
Buffer tanks are used to store hot water. They are used wherever the heat source is variable, for example with wood gasification boilers, solar energy, or heat pumps. Their advantage is that they can "store" heat and then use it later for heating or hot water preparation when needed. A suitable heat source can be a solid fuel boiler, a heat pump, solar collectors, or even a fireplace insert. Buffer tanks are manufactured in three variants. The ZG type from 850 L to 3000 L is simply a plain vessel for heating water. The ZGI type from 850 L to 3000 L has one heating coil, and the ZGIB type from 850 L to 2200 L has one coil plus a built-in 200 L domestic hot water tank. Insulation for buffer tanks is made from 100 mm polyurethane foam covered with polyester fabric. The insulation is supplied separately and must be ordered separately.
