HEPWORTH ball valves and shut-off taps are used to close or regulate the water flow in individual branches of the heating or drinking water system. The range includes valves with an adapter in both straight and angled versions, shut-off taps, and drain valves for draining the system before maintenance.
The parts are fitted by simply pushing them onto the pipe, just like the other HEPWORTH fittings, with no welding or soldering required.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is a drain valve used for? It allows you to drain water from a given branch of the system, for example when making a repair or winterising the system.
- What is the difference between a straight and an angled valve? A straight valve continues in the direction of the pipe, while an angled valve changes direction by 90° and also shuts off the flow.
- What diameters are the valves available in? Typically 15 and 22 mm, depending on the diameter of the connected pipe.
