Pipe Clamps
Simple single-hole clamps are used to fix pipework firmly to a wall or another load-bearing structure in water, heating and gas distribution systems. The clamp body is made of galvanised steel and has a rubber insert inside, which slightly cushions the pipe - it damps noise and vibration during operation of the pipework and at the same time prevents direct contact of the metal with the pipe, which reduces the risk of the surface finish being abraded.
The range covers outer pipe diameters of approximately 15 to 116 mm (size ranges 3/8" to 4"), so a suitable clamp can be found for almost every common installation in a family house as well as in a more industrial application.

How to choose the right clamp?
- Measure the actual outer diameter of the pipe (not the nominal bore) and compare it with the range given for the clamp.
- For longer sections of pipe, allow for a clamp spacing of roughly 1-1.5 m, closer together on vertical risers.
- The rubber insert is suitable for both metal and plastic pipe - for plastic pipe it also allows for slight thermal expansion.
