HEPWORTH elbows are used to change the direction of the pipe, and reduced versions also allow a transition between two different diameters. The range includes threaded elbows (with internal and external 1/2" and 3/4" threads), standard 90° elbows (so-called K-pieces) and 45° elbows for a gentler change of route direction.

All parts are fitted with a simple push-fit connection onto the pipe, with no need for welding, soldering or special tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between a 90° and a 45° elbow? A 90° elbow changes the pipe direction at a right angle, while a 45° elbow allows a gentler change of route, for example when going around an obstacle.
  • What is a threaded elbow? A combination of a push-fit connector and a thread (internal or external) that allows the pipe to be connected to a threaded fitting while also changing direction.
  • What diameters are the elbows available in? Commonly 15 and 22 mm, with reduced variants combining these diameters with 1/2" and 3/4" threads.
