Pipe, tubes and pipes for water, underfloor heating and heating
We offer various types of pipe, made from different materials and intended for different uses. The most common pipe for heating and water distribution is plastic-aluminium pipe. Sometimes also referred to as PEX-AL-PEX with a diameter of 16 mm. The pipe consists of several layers - an outer plastic layer, most often white in colour, a middle aluminium layer 0.2 mm thick, which mainly serves as an oxygen barrier against oxygen penetrating into the heating system, and an inner plastic pipe made of a corrosion-resistant material.
Plastic-aluminium pipes can be used for all types of installation, whether for radiator heating, underfloor heating, or water distribution. Their advantages are low price, rigidity and versatile use. Other, less commonly used pipe types, such as PEX, PERT or polybutylene, are used more often for specific types of application.
They therefore do not offer the same overall versatility, and sometimes must be used only with specific types of couplings or fittings. Below is a breakdown of pipe by type of use.

- What is the difference between PEX pipe and multilayer (Pex-Al-Pex) pipe? PEX is a single-layer plastic pipe, while multilayer Pex-Al-Pex has a middle aluminium layer that serves as an oxygen barrier and helps the pipe keep its shape after bending.

- How is the pipe joined? Most often with press fittings or push-fit fittings, depending on the type and diameter of the pipe.
