This pipe is manufactured by the German manufacturer Fränkische and, just like with PEX-AL-PEX, has an aluminium layer in the middle of its wall, which gives the pipe dimensional stability and reduces its linear expansion under temperature changes. The outer layer is made of PE-RT material (polyethylene with increased temperature resistance) instead of standard PEX, which is a typical feature of this particular product line.
