IVAR.PE-Xa, Xc is a cross-linked polyethylene pipe (PEX) with an oxygen barrier, intended mainly for underfloor heating distribution. Thanks to the absence of a metal layer, it is highly flexible and resistant to scale build-up.
Rated for PN6 at T=+90 °C and PN10 at T=+60 °C, which corresponds to the normal operating regime of underfloor heating. It is connected using IVAR.TP, RP series compression fittings or IVAR.AC series press fittings.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What does an oxygen barrier mean? A layer of material (EVOH) that prevents oxygen from diffusing into the heating water and slows down corrosion of the metal parts of the system.
- Is the pipe also suitable for radiator heating? It is primarily intended for underfloor heating, where its high flexibility is utilised.
- Which fittings is the pipe connected with? IVAR.TP, RP series compression fittings or IVAR.AC series press fittings.
