Buderus domestic hot water cylinders have an inner surface made of DUOCLEAN MKT thermal glaze. This is a special glass-based material, meaning it is hard, smooth, resistant to abrasion and easy to clean. DUOCLEAN MKT thermal glaze meets the highest hygiene requirements, so the hot water reaches drinking water quality.
In all domestic hot water cylinders, the heating coil extends all the way to the bottom. This is very important for evenly heating the water column, which prevents the growth of microorganisms that contaminate the water.
In addition to the DUOCLEAN MKT thermal glaze, the domestic hot water cylinders are protected against corrosion by a magnesium anode, which should be visually inspected every two years and replaced if necessary.
