The access panel consists of aluminium profiles with a 12.5 mm thick GKBi plasterboard infill and two push-lock latches. Both frames of the access panel consist of four individual frame sections that are firmly joined together by special welding. From a size of 300 x 300 mm, the access panel is fitted with a safety strap. To prevent possible injury, the strap must be re-hooked after each time the door is opened. The access panel can be used in walls as well as in ceilings (non-walkable) without any problems. There is a 1.5 mm air gap between the frame and the door leaf. The door is opened by pressing the hidden push-lock latches.
