One 270 x 60 cm panel covers an area of 1.62 m2.

From experience, we recommend buying slightly more material than the net area of the surface. In practice, some material is used for trimming the edges, cutting out openings for sockets, aligning the pattern of the slats, etc.

As a guideline, we recommend:

+5% of the net area for a regular room shape without additional cutouts

+10% of the net area for a more complex room shape (alcoves, columns, fireplace surrounds...)

Example for 10 m2 square meters with a regular room shape = 10 m2 * 1.05 / 1.6 m2 = 6.56 ≐ 7 panels

The acoustic panel is backed by laboratory test results for reaction to fire, emissions and chemical composition:

• Fire safety class D-s3,d0 according to standards EN 13823:2020+A1:2022 and EN ISO 11925-2:2020 (standard level of safety, the panel is not intended for spaces requiring increased fire protection)
• Formaldehyde emission level according to EN 717-1:2004 with result E1 (meets the safety limit)
• Screening of unwanted chemical substances with the result "no problematic levels of monitored substances were detected"
• Migration of heavy metals according to BS EN 12149:1998 (MDF) was not demonstrated
• According to the BS EN 12149:1998 test, no vinyl chloride monomer was detected

• Sound absorption test according to EN 15102:2007+A1:2011 and EN ISO 354:2003 with results of NRC 0.45 and average absorption ᾱs 0.46. Absorption class D (the panel effectively dampens medium and higher frequencies)
• The test was carried out according to EN ISO 10140-2:2021 on a brick wall with a result of 52 dB (the panel effectively reduces the transmission of common noise and voice between spaces)

Preparation before installation:

1. Prepare all the necessary tools.
2. Measure the height of the wall.
3. If necessary, cut the panels according to the height or width of the wall.

Two options for mounting to the wall:

• If mounting with screws, first place the anchors and then screw through the black felt (a total of 9 screws will be needed per panel).
• If mounting with adhesive, apply a sufficient amount of adhesive to the panel and then press it against the wall.

If you need to adjust the size, a circular saw will also come in handy.

We understand that it's not always easy to tell from a photo how the panel will look in your home or office.

Before buying, you can order a set of samples to help you choose the right decor. 

The set includes 3 colored panel samples measuring 12 x 12 cm.

The panels, also for protection against damage during transport, are packed in a cardboard box  always in pairs. If you need to order an odd number of panels, please do not hesitate to contact us.
