The FS-25 filter with a 1" (G1) connection is not intended for a single tap, but for the main water supply into a family house. It is installed right after the water meter and from there protects the whole household - all taps, valves, the washing machine and the boiler - from sand, rust and other mechanical impurities entering the pipework from the public supply.
The angled design of the brass body means minimal resistance even at the higher flow rates typical of whole-house consumption. Servicing is simple - just unscrew the bottom cleaning nut, remove and rinse the strainer and screw it back on.
