ATMOS D 25 P COM
Code: D25P COMProduct detailed description
- 7-24 kW ecological, fully automatic pellet boiler
- ATMOS D25P COM is supplied as a complete set with stainless steel connection (boiler circuit with a 70°C thermoventil + one pump group with a 3-way valve without servo drive) and with a ATMOS A25 pellet burner.
- the boiler is designed for perfect pellet combustion so that, depending on the customer's needs, a pellet burner is built into the left or right side of the boiler, which fully automatically draws pellets from the storage tank using a screw conveyor. The fuel storage tank is usually placed next to the boiler or in an adjacent room and can be of any size (standard 250, 500 or 1000L). Often part of the boiler room is used as the fuel storage, which is then sufficient for the entire heating season.
The operation of the pellet burner is fully automatic. When the burner receives a start command or when heating is needed, the conveyor feeds pellets into the burner nozzle and ignites them itself with a heating element (spiral). Once the pellets are sufficiently ignited, the burner runs at the set output until the system (house) is heated. Then the burner switches off and the pellets in the burner chamber burn out completely. The burner is thus ready for a new start. The whole cycle repeats whenever further heating is needed.
The boiler output and other burner functions are controlled by an electronic controller, which allows the boiler's operation to be adapted to the specific conditions of the whole system. Refilling pellets, cleaning the burner's combustion chamber and removing ash is done once every 1–30 days, depending on the quality of the pellets and the size of the storage tank.
If needed, the boilers can be equipped with an automatic ash removal system for comfortable heating with minimal maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How to choose the correct output for a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building; however, for wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output during one fill - it is therefore common practice to add a buffer tank to the boiler, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently throttled down.
- What else do I need to install this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system usually requires: a buffer (balancing) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve to prevent low-temperature corrosion of the boiler), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draft corresponding to the boiler output - exact draft values can be found in the technical parameters above.
- What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (typically split wood of a defined length and moisture content, or lignite briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or too moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases tar and deposit formation, and can damage the boiler.
- What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), a chimney inspection/cleaning by an authorized chimney sweep is required by law - without the relevant inspection report, an insurance claim in the event of a fire may also be disputed.
- How much maintenance does the boiler require? This usually includes regular removal of ash and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas paths from soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually a matter of weeks), and once a year a thorough inspection including seals and the chimney.
- Can I install the boiler myself? The placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney and safety elements should be carried out, or at least professionally inspected, by a heating technician - this is a device with an open flame, high temperatures and pressure components, where a connection error can be a safety risk.
