- 20kW ecological wood gasification boiler – WOOD GAS with an exhaust fan and cooling loop
It is designed for burning wood on the principle of generator gasification using an exhaust fan (S), which draws the flue gases out of the boiler.
The boiler body is made as a welded construction from high-quality steel sheets with a thickness of 3 to 8 mm. It consists of a fuel hopper (6mm), which is fitted at the bottom with a gasification nozzle with a longitudinal opening for the passage of flue gases and gases. The afterburner chamber below it is equipped with ceramic mouldings for ideal combustion of all combustible substances with high efficiency during ecologically friendly combustion. At the rear of the boiler body there is a vertical flue gas duct, which is fitted at the top with a lighting flap. The upper part of the flue gas duct is fitted with an exhaust neck for connection to the chimney.

• How to choose the correct output for a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building; however, with wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output on a single fill - it is therefore common practice to supplement the boiler with a storage (buffer) tank, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently throttled down.
• What else do I need for the installation of this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system generally requires: a storage (buffer) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve against low-temperature boiler corrosion), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draft corresponding to the boiler output - exact draft values can be found in the technical parameters above.
• What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only the fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (typically split wood of a defined length and moisture content, or possibly brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or overly moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases the formation of tar and deposits, and can damage the boiler.
• What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), an inspection/cleaning of the chimney by an authorized chimney sweep is legally required - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim in the event of a fire may also be disputed.
• How much maintenance does the boiler require? This usually includes regular removal of ash and cleaning of the heating surfaces/flue gas paths from soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually a matter of weeks), and once a year a thorough inspection including seals and the chimney.
• Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney, and safety elements should be carried out or at least professionally checked by a heating technician - this is a device with an open flame, high temperatures, and pressurized components, where an error in connection can be a safety risk.
