ATMOS DC 25 SP
Code: DC25SPProduct detailed description
- 27 kW on wood combined with a pellet burner /6-20 kW/ for ecological combustion based on the generator gasification principle
Depending on the type, the boiler allows fuel switching, manual heating with wood and fully automatic heating with pellets. If needed, it is possible to purchase the boiler without a burner, with the option of choosing one later or using a burner from a previous boiler.
The boiler is constructed as a body with three chambers stacked on top of each other. The top two chambers are used for wood gasification, as in classic gasification boilers. The third, lowest chamber is fitted at the front with the required burner and lined with ceramics for optimal combustion quality. The combustion systems are separated from each other by a water jacket, so they do not significantly affect each other, which allows the boiler to achieve high efficiency when heating with individual fuels. The flue gas outlet to the chimney is solved by an outlet neck, so a single chimney is sufficient.

Basic technical data Atmos DC25SP:
Note: The boiler is supplied without a burner. The boiler and burner are equipped with a function for automatic closing or opening of the air supply to the boiler or burner using a servo drive when heating with wood or pellets. The boilers are equipped with an AGF2 flue gas temperature sensor and a KTF20 boiler sensor for the automatic burner start function after the wood has burned down. They are further equipped with two sensors (TV and TS) KTF20 for controlling the burner according to two temperatures on the storage tank. The whole set is thus sold in maximum equipment for fully automatic operation and easy "plug and play" installation. |

Frequently Asked Questions
- How to choose the correct output for a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building; however, with wood/coal boilers, also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output during one filling - it is therefore common practice to add a storage tank to the boiler, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently damped down.
- What else do I need to install this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system usually requires: a storage (buffer) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve against low-temperature corrosion of the boiler), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue pipe/chimney with sufficient draught corresponding to the boiler output - exact draught values can be found in the technical parameters above.
- What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use exclusively the fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (typically piece wood of defined length and moisture, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or too moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases tar and deposit formation, and can cause damage to the boiler.
- What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), a chimney inspection/cleaning by an authorized chimney sweep is required by law - without the relevant inspection certificate, even an insurance claim in the event of a fire may be disputed.
- How much maintenance does the boiler require? This usually includes regular removal of ash and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas paths from soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually a matter of weeks), and once a year a thorough inspection including seals and the chimney.
- Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney and safety elements should be carried out or at least professionally checked by a heating technician - this is a device with an open flame, high temperatures and pressure elements, where a connection error can be a safety risk.
