Detailed information

Product detailed description

- 30 kW DREVOPLYN modified for a pellet burner in the upper door

- the boiler is designed so that the boiler body is made by welding from quality steel sheets 3 to 8 mm thick, consisting of an upper chamber fitted at the top with a door with an opening for installing a pellet burner and at the bottom with a gasification nozzle. The lower space is fitted with ceramic moldings for ideal burn-out of all combustible substances with high efficiency in eco-friendly combustion, and also serves as an ash pan.

Attention !! Option to order a left or right opening version.
This must be specified in the order note.

Basic technical data Atmos DC30SX UPR:

  • boiler output on wood: 30 kW, efficiency 89.9%
  • boiler output on pellets: 7–24 kW,
    efficiency 91.2%
  • required chimney draught: 24 Pa
  • max. working water overpressure: 250 kPa
  • boiler weight: 332 kg
  • water volume: 58 L
  • hopper volume: 95 dm3
  • max. wood length: 530 mm
  • specified fuel wood:
diameter 80–150 mm with moisture 12–20%
  • specified fuel pellets: quality wooden
pellets with a diameter of 6–8 mm
  • combustion class: 5
  • energy efficiency class: A+

Note: The boiler is supplied without a burner.
The boiler is supplied with two AD03 modules for controlling the boiler's induced-draft fan and the pump in the boiler circuit, and with two TV and TS sensors (2x KTF20-5m) for controlling operation according to two temperatures on the buffer tank, plus a TK boiler temperature sensor (KTF20).

Use a conveyor at least 2 m long!

Accessories required for the boiler:

burner A25
screw conveyor DA
- various lengths

pellet tank - various

Advantages of a built-in burner in a standard boiler:

  • simple and affordable solution
  • possibility of comfortable heating with pellets
    without manual stoking
  • possibility of connecting to a large hopper
    for pellets = refilling fuel
once every 7-14 days / once a year
  • convenient and dust-free ash removal with induced-draft fan
    once every 7–30 days
  • automatic pellet ignition
    with an ignition coil
  • cooling loop against overheating
= no risk of boiler damage
  • automatic boiler shutdown
    after fuel burn-out
  • small dimensions and modern design

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How to choose the right output for a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building; however, for wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output on a single fill - it is therefore common practice to add a buffer tank to the boiler, which stores surplus heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently throttled down.
  • What else do I need to install this boiler? Besides the boiler itself, the system typically requires: a buffer (balancing) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve against low-temperature boiler corrosion), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draught corresponding to the boiler output - exact chimney draught values can be found in the technical parameters above.
  • What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (typically split logs of defined length and moisture, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or too damp fuel reduces efficiency, increases tar and deposit formation, and can damage the boiler.
  • What about chimney inspections and legislation? Before commissioning the boiler, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), a chimney inspection/cleaning by an authorized chimney sweep is legally required - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim in the event of a fire could also be disputed.
  • How much maintenance does the boiler require? Normally this involves regular ash removal and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas passages from soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually on the order of weeks), plus a thorough annual inspection including seals and the chimney.
  • Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney, and safety elements should be carried out, or at least professionally checked, by a heating technician - this is equipment involving open flame, high temperatures, and pressurized components, where a connection error can be a safety risk.
