The automatic domestic water pump station with submersible pump 3" STM 24 with PC-13 is used mainly seasonally, primarily for irrigation. For this automatic domestic water pump station to work reliably, a pressure reducing valve must be used in this set upstream of the control unit, and it should be set to a max. pressure of 6bar. A 1" water pressure reducing valve is included in the package. Submersible pumps for drinking water are used to supply industrial, residential or agricultural buildings with drinking water drawn from greater depths (more than 8m) or piped from a greater distance. The submersible pump 3" STM 24 has increased resistance to sand or other abrasive substances that may be present in the water. The RTS designation on the submersible pump stands for Resistance To Sand (sand-resistant). The submersible pump 3" STM 24 with floating impellers is also designed for new, fresh boreholes, wells, tanks, reservoirs and collection shafts. This pump is suitable for boosting pressure when built into a distribution pipe, and further for domestic or industrial use for irrigation or spraying with water. The hydraulic part of the 3" STM 24 pump is separated from the motor (the pump is not built as a monobloc - in the event of a fault the pump can be easily dismantled). Any repair (which we carry out) need not be too costly and is above all quick, which is a great advantage in the event of a fault. The pump is equipped with thermal protection - a fuse. The submersible pump 3" STM 24 is also suitable for small and medium fire-fighting stations or as part of a domestic water pump station with a submersible pump. The PC-13 press control automat with pressure gauge also provides dry-run protection - it switches off the pump when running without water. This protects the pump from the damage that could otherwise occur when running without water. After switching off, it is put back into operation by pressing the RESET button. We recommend using the PC-13 press control automat with pressure gauge in clean water systems without impurities and sediment; otherwise a suitable filter must be installed on the inlet side of the device. A suitable alternative is also: the PC-16 control unit. Product advantages: The PC-13 press control automat with pressure gauge can be used as an automatic unit for pumps and pump stations without a pressure tank (automatic pump station). A major advantage of the PC-13 control unit is its ease of use. The BRIO PC-13 control unit with pressure gauge - press control - has a built-in check valve against backflow of water into the pump. Operation and basic data: The PC-13 automat with pressure gauge starts the pump for approximately 15 seconds at the moment of connection. The pump then starts every time the operating pressure is reached, i.e. when the pressure in the system drops, for example when a valve is opened. Unlike other pressure switches and control units, which switch off on reaching a certain pressure, the PC-13 automat with pressure gauge switches off at the moment the minimum flow value is reached. Once this condition is met, the device delays switching off the device by 7 to 15 seconds. This reduces the frequency of pump starts at low flow rates. Installation: The PC-13 automat with pressure gauge can be installed at any point between the pump and the first point of use, so that the direction of the arrow located on the underside of the device (at the thread) between the two 1" diameter connections corresponds to the direction of water flow. Perfect sealing of the hydraulic connections in the system must be ensured. If a pump with a maximum permissible pressure of 8 bar is used, a pressure reducing valve must be installed at the PC-13 inlet. The device is factory-set to 1.5 bar, which is optimal for most applications.
