The automatic domestic water pump station with submersible pump 3Ti-20 with PC-16 is used mainly seasonally, primarily for irrigation. For this automatic domestic water pump station to work reliably, a pressure reducing valve must be used upstream of the control unit, and it should be set to a max. pressure of 6bar. A 1" water pressure reducing valve is included in the package. Submersible pumps for drinking water are used to supply industrial, residential or agricultural buildings with drinking water drawn from greater depths (more than 8m) or piped from a greater distance. The submersible pump 3Ti-20 has increased resistance to sand or other abrasive substances that may be present in the water. The RTS designation on the submersible pump stands for Resistance To Sand (sand-resistant). The submersible pump 3Ti-20 with floating impellers is also designed for new, fresh boreholes, wells, tanks, reservoirs and collection shafts. This pump is suitable for boosting pressure when built into a distribution pipe, and further for domestic or industrial use for irrigation or spraying with water. The hydraulic part of the 3Ti-20 pump is separated from the motor (the pump is not built as a monobloc - in the event of a fault the pump can be easily dismantled). Any repair (which we carry out) need not be too costly and is above all quick, which is a great advantage in the event of a fault. The pump is equipped with thermal protection - a fuse. The submersible pump 3Ti-20 is also suitable for small and medium fire-fighting stations or as part of a domestic water pump station with a submersible pump. The PC-16 control unit with pressure gauge and automatic dry-run restart for monitoring pump operation performs the function of a pressure switch and/or pressure tank, thereby enabling automatic operation of submersible or self-priming, in other words also surface, pumps. Depending on the pressure drop and when water flow in the system stops, it enables automatic operation of the pump or pump station. With the PC-16 control unit you do NOT need a pressure tank, pressure switch or dry-run protection. The PC-16 control unit with pressure gauge provides dry-run protection - it switches off the pump when running without water. This protects the pump from the damage that could otherwise occur. The PC-16 control unit repeatedly attempts to start the pump again without manual intervention - if water is still not available, the PC-16 switches the pump off. This cycle can repeat several times a day, which can be an advantage for automatic irrigation. We recommend using this unit in clean water systems without impurities and sediment; otherwise a suitable filter must be installed upstream of the device.
