The 3″ IPRO 1-20 multi-stage submersible pump has increased resistance to sand and other abrasive substances that may be present in the water. The RTS designation on the submersible pump stands for Resistance To Sand. This submersible pump with floating impellers can also be used in new or freshly drilled boreholes, wells, tanks, water reservoirs and collection shafts. It is also suitable for boosting pressure when installed in a distribution pipeline, as well as for domestic or industrial use and for irrigation or spraying water. The hydraulic part of the 3″ IPRO 1-20 pump is separated from the motor (the pump is not built as a monobloc) – in the event of a fault, the pump can be easily disassembled. Any repair (carried out at our service centre) need not be costly and is above all quick, which is a major advantage in the event of a fault. The pump is equipped with thermal protection – a fuse. The 3″ IPRO 1-20 submersible pump is also suitable for small and medium fire-fighting stations, or as part of a home water plant with a submersible pump. WATER-PASS 2 controls pump operation by monitoring changes in water pressure and flow within the pipework. Automatic activation depends on the drop in water pressure in the plumbing system below the set activation pressure, and on the flow in the pipe on which WATER-PASS 2 is installed. In practice, the WATER-PASS 2 control unit switches the pump on when a tap is opened (or sprinklers are switched on) and switches it off about 6 seconds after the tap (or sprinklers) is closed.
