A pressure gauge with an axial (direct) connection is mounted in line with the pipe or boiler fitting, and once screwed in, its dial remains parallel to the panel it is mounted on - which makes it suitable, for example, for the front of a boiler or a heating manifold. The 0-6 bar range covers the usual operating pressures of household and smaller industrial heating circuits.
