The Helix 2NR filter designed for irrigation systems is a disc model with a two-inch connection from the manufacturer Azud, used in the distribution of automatic irrigation systems for larger public and sports lawn areas.

It finds its greatest use in the irrigation of sports fields, in agriculture, and other applications. Its task is to capture impurities before they enter the irrigation network. If the filter were not used, impurities could damage the membranes of electromagnetic valves, block sprinkler nozzles, or clog narrow-diameter tubing, such as those used for drip or micro irrigation.

The filter construction uses various materials. The body is made of high-quality polyamide with added glass fiber for greater strength. For proper operation of the irrigation system, it is essential to regularly clean the filter's disc elements, since water always contains small impurities. Optimal filter installation is recommended in an easily accessible location, directly on the water from the pump, before the distribution of electromagnetic valves.
