The intelligent Cyrix-ct battery combiner with temperature protection controls the charging and disconnecting of the starter and service battery, including connecting cables and accessories.
The intelligent Cyrix-ct battery combiner controls the charging and disconnecting of the starter and service battery. If the voltage on one of the batteries reaches 13.0 V (26 V) for 10 minutes or 13.8 V (27.6 V) for 4 seconds, the Cyrix-ct connects the batteries and both batteries are charged simultaneously to a full state. As soon as the voltage on one of the batteries drops below 12.8 V (25.6 V) for 10 minutes or 11.8 V (23.6 V) for 4 seconds, the batteries are disconnected from each other. This connecting and disconnecting works bidirectionally. The batteries can be of different capacities, types and constructions. It is assumed that each battery powers its own consumers.
The Cyrix-ct model is equipped with temperature protection. In case of high ambient temperature or excessive charging current, it will switch off. Once the temperature drops, the Cyrix-ct activates automatically.
The kit includes:
1 x Cyrix-ct unit
1 x 6 metres of red cable with a cross-sectional area of 10 mm2
1 x 0.5 metres of black cable with a cross-sectional area of 10 mm2
1 x 0.2 metres of black cable with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm2 with an eyelet with an inner hole diameter of 8 mm and a 6.3 mm faston connector (connecting output 86 to the Cyrix-ct and batteries)
2 x eyelet with an inner hole diameter of 8 mm with insulation
4 x eyelet with an inner hole diameter of 6 mm with insulation
4 x black cable ties
