What is the roller used for?

A garden roller is an indispensable helper for establishing and maintaining a lawn. The roller helps to level uneven surfaces and breaks up soil clumps into smaller pieces. After sowing seeds on the surface, the roller gently presses the seeds into the soil, which prevents the seeds from being blown away or eaten by pests. Boron steel and extended 5-year warranty

CAPO tools are made from ultra-hardened boron steel (also known as Finnish steel). This gives the rollers excellent strength and long-term resistance to material wear, which even under otherwise unfavorable conditions results in a significantly long service life.

That is also why the manufacturer provides an extended five-year warranty on CAPO products. If a defect occurs on the roller at any time during the first five years of use, send it to us and we will promptly send you a new, undamaged product back.

Lawn aeration or aerification

Lawn aeration is performed once a year using spikes attached to the roller body. For a 50 cm roller, we recommend purchasing 3 - 4 belts with spikes. Aerification ensures soil aeration, better water absorption and management, reduction of moss growth and better penetration of treatments and fertilizers. After aerification, for the overall vitality of the lawn, it is necessary to spread silica sand over the treated area. Other CAPO tools can also be useful for lawn care.

Packaging and delivery method

The product will be delivered to you by standard parcel shipping and will be packed so that it is not damaged during transport. The specific packaging method depends on the number of ordered pieces and other items in the order. A single roller will most often be packed in a cardboard box and stretch film.

NOTICE: the belt spikes are designed for normal, non-compacted and moist soil. In the case of dry, hard, sandy or clay soils, the roller spikes may bend.
