Big Blue 20" Pipe Mechanical Filter

The Big Blue 20" pipeline mechanical filter with air vent valve, inch connection and sturdy construction is suitable for both pre- and post-filtration of cold water.

Inline filtration extends the life of water treatment systems, pipelines, appliances, etc.

The filters are made of high-quality, durable plastic and are also suitable for drinking water.

The Big Blue mechanical filter is compatible with several types of filter cartridges:

• PP sediment filter cartridges
• wound filter cartridges
• empty filter canisters
• CTO and GAC carbon filter cartridges.
  

• as a pre-filter before softening devices, to protect them from mechanical impurities (sand, gravel, rust, clay, mud, etc.)
• for carbon filtration (removing chlorine and its compounds, or improving the taste and odor of water)
• or also on its own with various cartridges* sized 20 x 4.5"

*Since the filter has a 4" diameter - compared to other 20-inch filters - it has a larger filtration area, and therefore also lower pressure loss.
