The mechanical pressure regulator with an adjustable output of 1 bar is used to maintain a stable pressure in the system, even when the inlet pressure fluctuates. It is a suitable device for automatic irrigation systems, especially where a lower pressure is required, for example when using a soaker hose.
If you install this regulator in a system with an inlet pressure of 3.5 bar or higher, water will leak. Therefore, for drip irrigation, we recommend using the specialized RainBird PSI-M30 regulator.
When using a soaker hose with a maximum pressure of 1 bar, it is recommended to install the RainBird PSI-M40 model before the regulator, which will prevent water leakage in case the pressure exceeds 3.5 bar.
