Presscontrol SK-13, dry-run pump protection, is used for automatic direct switching on and off of pumps with a single-phase motor. The device can be installed with a self-priming stationary pump as well as with a submersible pump that meets the technical parameters of the Presscontrol. Use of the Presscontrol SK-13: The Presscontrol SK-13 dry-run protection device includes an indicator of the pump running dry (empty). If a situation occurs where the pump has no water and runs dry, the Presscontrol switches the pump off after approx. 10 seconds and the fault indicator light on the control panel comes on. How does the BRIO SK-13 work? The BRIO SK-13 dry-run pump protection automatically switches the pump on and off in the event of a pressure drop and flow stoppage. In addition, the BRIO SK-13 stops the pump when there is no water in the system, thereby protecting it from damage during dry running. The BRIO SK-13 device does not allow the switch-off pressure value to be adjusted, so under working conditions the pump will switch off once it reaches its maximum parameters (pressure). A suitable alternative with self-restart, without the need to manually press the RESET button, is: the PC-16 control unit.
