The HDPE hose, sold in cut pieces of 5 meters in length with an outer diameter of 40 mm, is used for transporting utility water. It is most commonly used as a distribution pipe for automatic irrigation systems on larger grassy areas, such as sports fields.
The HDPE hose is harder compared to LDPE and is suitable for systems where pressure exceeds 6 bar. Thanks to its larger diameter, it achieves a higher water flow rate and lower pressure losses compared to LDPE hoses.
The material is polyethylene treated against UV radiation and with high resistance to ground erosion, which ensures a long product lifespan.
For more complex shaping or joining of pipes, connecting material is used.
