The HDPE hose with an outer diameter of 40 mm is used for transporting utility water and is most commonly used as a distribution pipe in automatic irrigation systems designed for large grassy areas, such as playing fields.
The HDPE hose is harder than LDPE, which makes it suitable for systems with pressure exceeding 6 bar. Its larger diameter results in lower pressure losses and allows for higher water flow compared to LDPE hoses.
Although it is made of polyethylene, which is UV stabilized and highly resistant to soil erosion, it guarantees a long service life.
For more complex shaping or connecting of pipes, connecting material is used.
