The CAPO manual earth auger with a thread diameter of 100 mm is an ideal helper when you're about to plant shrubs or trees, or when building a fence and about to install new posts.
This manual auger is characterized by its shape. The auger consists of a rubberized handle welded to the shaft and blade in a "T" shape. Combined with hardened boron steel, this design allows more force to be applied when digging holes. However, thanks to the thread design, this will otherwise be relatively easy.

How to use the auger
Insert the tip of the auger at the point where you plan to dig a hole, so that the thread touches the ground. Turning it clockwise will make the auger start digging into the ground. You can watch the video below to see how the CAPO auger works. Compared to a manual spiral-shaped auger (first part of the video), there is no significant spilling of soil. It layers up inside the dug hole, which means less effort is required.The current auger models are already equipped with a marking on the shaft, so you know when you've reached the desired depth. Choosing the auger diameter
CAPO augers are manufactured in 5 different variants with thread diameters from 100 to 250 mm. The thread diameter determines how wide the dug hole will be. The diameters of the most popular fence posts are up to 50 mm, which is why an auger up to 150 mm will be sufficient for installing posts. On the other hand, when planting new shrubs, trees, or perennials in the garden, it is recommended to dig holes with diameters from 20 cm, so in this case you would choose an auger with a larger diameter.

Boron steel and extended 5-year warranty
CAPO tools are made of ultra-hardened boron steel (also known as Finnish steel). This gives the cylinders excellent strength and long-term resistance to material wear, which results in a significantly long service life, even under otherwise unfavorable conditions.
That is also why the manufacturer provides an extended five-year warranty on CAPO branded products. If a defect occurs on the cylinder at any time within the first five years of use, send it to us and we will promptly send you a new, undamaged product in return.
What to buy in addition to the auger
Unlike motorized augers, CAPO manual augers are characterized by easy use and are maintenance-free. No additional accessories are needed to drill the holes. However, for greater comfort while digging, we recommend getting work gloves. For accurately measuring the placement of holes for fence posts, a spirit level, tape measure, measuring tape, or string may also come in handy. You can deal with smaller stones in the ground using a crowbar.
When planting plants in the garden, soil with the necessary nutrients for growth may come in handy, which you can further work with using a shovel or a rake.
Packaging and delivery method
The product will be delivered to you via standard parcel shipping and will be packaged so as to prevent damage during transport. The exact packaging method depends on the number of pieces ordered and other items in the order. A single cylinder will most often be packaged in a cardboard box and stretch film.
