The status monitor is an excellent addition for all batteries with an operating voltage of 8 to 120 V, whether lead-acid or lithium. It is useful in all photovoltaic power plants with battery storage, in caravans, motorhomes, boats and backup systems - simply everywhere it is necessary to know the actual battery charge status at a quick glance. While most cheaper inverters and charge controllers only estimate the battery's state of charge based on its voltage, the BM150 status monitor uses a shunt to measure the actual bidirectional current flow in the battery, thus calculating the remaining capacity much more accurately. The beautiful display with green backlight also shows in real time the battery's charging or discharging power, voltage, estimated remaining capacity, and the time until it is fully charged or discharged. The display has adjustable brightness, can be completely turned off, pulses slowly while charging, and lights continuously while discharging, so the user can see the battery's activity at a glance without reading the data. A great and versatile choice wherever the battery cannot be monitored using a mobile app, or where using a phone for monitoring is undesirable.
