Cartridge 10" LA-SX The cartridge eliminates unwanted odor and taste in water caused by chlorine and other organic substances. Removes pesticides, insecticides and chlorine solvents. Household use: Thorough removal of chlorine from water. Suitable not only for drinking and cooking but also for showering and bathing. Technical use: Dechlorination in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, pre-treatment for reverse osmosis units. Average service life: 6-12 months Maintenance: none Recommendation: Use a mechanical pre-filter to protect the cartridge. Note: Before first use of the filter with this cartridge, we recommend rinsing the "LA" filter cartridge with approx. 3 to 5 liters of water and letting this water drain away. During this rinsing, small particles of activated carbon that formed from the filling breaking up during transport may be flushed out.
