The self-supporting, circular water meter shaft MONOLIT 1300 is designed for connecting water meters and fittings of water supply connections. This water meter shaft is manufactured using rotational molding technology from polyethylene without welding. Thanks to its design, the MONOLIT 1300 water meter shaft provides plenty of working space and allows for the installation of multiple water meters. The MONOLIT 1300 water meter shaft can also be installed in terrain with the presence of groundwater, without the need for concrete encasement. The depth of the water supply hoses must also be taken into account. The excavation depth calculation also includes a sand bed, so that the cover is at least 5 cm above ground level. The self-supporting, circular water meter shaft MONOLIT 1300 is placed in the center of the excavation on a sand bed at least 20cm thick, which must not contain any aggregate or other sharp objects that could damage the shaft casing. In the case of a hydromorphic environment, a concrete slab 20 cm thick made of B10 class concrete is required at the bottom of the excavation, and the shaft must be anchored to the concrete slab through the eyes. The transitions of the PE hoses through the shaft chamber are made through a seal. Once the hoses in the shaft are connected, the shaft can be backfilled and evenly compacted.
