The Coconut Ring Ø16cm serves as a natural shield for the trunk parts of trees and shrubs, protecting them from the harmful effects of mowers, weeds, grass, winter cold and other impurities. These rings can be used for any form of planting, whether in the ground or in a pot.
The disc offers an eco-friendly solution for retaining heat and moisture in the root zone of plants and trees. The product is made from 100% natural coconut fibre and latex.
The fibre retains water, preventing trees from drying out quickly and reducing the need for frequent watering. Thanks to the high density of coconut fibre of up to 800g/m2, it does not allow light to penetrate, which prevents weed growth and grassing around the tree, so you don't have to resort to using various herbicides. Within 3 to 5 years, the material decomposes and acts as a natural fertiliser.
The disc is cut in one place to make it easy to place around trees.
