Coconut tying twine with a length of 15 metres is used for fastening the trunks of young trees to their support stakes. Natural or coconut twines have a wide range of uses in the garden for growing vegetables, tying natural geotextiles, as well as for packaging goods, gifts, decorations and the like.

Since coconut fibre is a material from renewable sources, i.e. waste from coconut processing, it does not burden the natural environment and is very easily and ecologically decomposable.

Natural twines made from coconut or jute fibre are used as an alternative to polypropylene twines made of plastic. Their lifespan is naturally longer, but on the other hand the ecological burden of their production and subsequent disposal is very high.
