Designed to work - with the ALEX pump unit - or the Solar ZP2-12 ECO pump unit
It needs to be supplemented with an electronic flow meter - combined with it, it continuously measures the thermal efficiency of the solar installation, balances out heat yields over time and signals any irregularities in operation

Combined with an electronic flow meter, the GH26 continuously controls the thermal efficiency of the solar installation, balances out heat yields over time and also signals any faults in operation - no flow in the system.
The controller is fitted with 6 temperature sensors and is designed for wall mounting.

Frequently asked questions

• How does this controller/control unit work? It compares the temperature at the solar collector with the temperature in the storage tank (or another heat consumer) and, when the collector is sufficiently warmer, switches on the solar circuit's circulation pump to transfer the collected heat to the tank - when the temperature difference is small or negative, the pump switches off again to prevent the tank from cooling back down.
• What sensors do I need for this controller? Typically at least one sensor on the collector (the hottest point) and one in the storage tank - you will find the exact number and type of sensors required in the technical documentation of the specific controller.
• Can the controller also manage several heat consumers (e.g. a pool as well as a tank)? With more advanced controllers, yes - these let you prioritise where the collected solar heat should go at any given moment, based on the current temperatures of the individual consumers.
• Does installation and setup have to be carried out by a professional? We recommend leaving the connection of the controller, sensors and pump into a working solar system to a solar systems professional, who will also ensure the correct initial setup of the controller's parameters.
