Detailed information

Product detailed description

CP25 Kit for the ATMOS A 25 burner

This is a device designed for cleaning the combustion chamber of ATMOS A 25 and ATMOS A 45 burners when using lower-quality pellets, which tend to form clinker due to the bark and other impurities they contain. Together with the pellet burner, the device provides automatic cleaning, removing clinker and ash from the burner chamber at regular intervals or every time the burner finishes burning. Pneumatic burner cleaning is very fast, effective and reliable. If the customer requires that cleaning does not take place at night, a special timer switch must be purchased (ordinary timer switches available in shops cannot be used). The device is sold as a kit for converting the ATMOS A 25 or ATMOS A 45 burner to pellets. The ATMOS A 85 burner is always supplied already fitted with pneumatic cleaning.

Kit for pellet boilers without an induced-draught fan (basic kit)

For boilers: D 14 P, D 15 P, D 21 P, D 25 P.

Kit contents:

  • connecting air hose 1 m long (DN 28 mm) with 3/4" threaded fitting and control solenoid valve
  • new ignition coil holder plate
  • new combustion chamber
  • pneumatic cleaning channel with locking nut and washer
  • AD02 module for controlling the compressor via the reserve output R, R2

NOTE: Choose the basic kit without a compressor only if you already own a compressor with an air tank volume of 5 to 10 L that reaches a pressure of 5 – 8 bar (500 – 800 kPa). The compressor or air tank must be located in the immediate vicinity of the boiler and the basic pipe diameter must be maintained.

FAQ

  • How can I verify that "CP25 Kit for A 25 Burner" fits my appliance exactly? The most reliable way is to compare the exact type/catalogue designation from your appliance's (boiler, tank, water heater) rating plate with the compatibility stated directly in this product's name (brand Atmos) and in its technical parameters above. If in doubt, send us the exact type designation of your appliance (including the serial number, if available) - we will be happy to verify compatibility for you.
  • Why is it important to use an original/compatible part rather than a universal replacement? Parts such as seals, sensors or safety components (safety valves, thermal fuses) are usually dimensioned precisely to the parameters of a specific appliance (pressure, temperature, sensor electrical resistance) - the wrong part can cause reduced function, leaks, or in the case of safety components, a real safety risk.
  • Does installing this part require a professional? For simpler, mechanical parts (e.g. seals, covers, small accessories not connected to electricity, gas or the pressurised part) a handy DIY person can usually manage the replacement after disconnecting the appliance from power and the mains. However, for any intervention in the gas, electrical or pressurised part of the appliance (e.g. sensors located directly in the combustion chamber, safety valves, electronic modules) we always recommend a service technician - especially since such work could affect the validity of the warranty on the whole appliance.
  • How do I know this part is worn and needs replacing? Common signs are visible wear/cracking (for seals and rubber parts), a leak of water or flue gas at the part, an error message on the controller display (for sensors and electronic modules), or an obviously reduced function of the appliance (e.g. irregular combustion for burner parts). If in doubt, the safest option is to have the condition assessed by a service technician during the regular annual inspection.
  • Is it worth keeping this part at home as a spare? For parts that are subject to normal wear (seals, fuses, small mechanical parts) and whose failure would mean a heating or hot water outage, keeping a spare on hand is a sensible precaution - especially for an older appliance for which the part may be harder to source quickly.
