Product detailed description

CPX25S Set for the ATMOS A 25 Burner

This device is designed for cleaning the combustion chamber of ATMOS A 25 and ATMOS A 45 burners when lower-quality pellets are used, which tend to form clinker as a result of bark and other impurities in the pellets. Combined with a pellet burner, the device provides automatic cleaning, removing clinker and ash from the burner chamber at regular intervals or always after the burner has finished burning. Pneumatic cleaning of the burner is very fast, effective and reliable. If the customer requires that cleaning does not take place at night, a special timer switch must be purchased (a standard timer switch available in shops cannot be used). The device is sold as a set for converting the ATMOS A 25 or ATMOS A 45 pellet burner. The ATMOS A 85 burner is always supplied already fitted with pneumatic cleaning.

Set for pellet boilers with an exhaust fan, CPX25KS for the A 25 burner (basic set)

For boilers: D 15 PX, D 20 PX.

Set contents:

  • connecting air hose 1.5 m long (DN 28 mm) with a 3/4" threaded fitting and control solenoid valve
  • new ignition coil holder board
  • new combustion chamber
  • pneumatic cleaning duct with locking nut and washer

NOTE: Choose the basic set without a compressor only if you already own a compressor with an air tank volume of 5 to 10 L, capable of reaching a pressure of 5 - 8 bar (500 - 800 kPa). The compressor or air tank must be located in the immediate vicinity of the boiler, and the basic pipe diameter must be observed.

Frequently asked questions

  • How can I check that "CPX25S Set for the A 25 Burner" fits my exact appliance? The most reliable way is to compare the exact type/catalogue designation on your appliance's (boiler, tank, water heater) rating plate with the compatibility stated directly in this product's name (Atmos brand) and in its technical parameters above. If in doubt, send us the exact type designation of your appliance (including the serial number, if available) - we will gladly verify compatibility for you.
  • Why is it important to use an original/compatible part rather than a universal replacement? Parts such as seals, sensors or safety components (safety valves, thermal fuses) are usually dimensioned exactly to the parameters of the specific appliance (pressure, temperature, sensor's electrical resistance) - an incorrect part can cause reduced function, leaks, or, in the case of safety components, a genuine safety risk.
  • Does this part have to be installed by a professional? For simpler, mechanical parts (e.g. seals, covers, small accessories not connected to electricity, gas or the pressurised part) a handy DIYer can usually manage the replacement after disconnecting the appliance from power and the system. However, for any intervention in the gas, electrical or pressurised part of the appliance (e.g. sensors directly in the combustion chamber, safety valves, electrical modules) we always recommend a service technician - especially since the intervention could affect the validity of the warranty on the whole appliance.
  • How do I know this part is worn and needs replacing? Common signs include visible wear/cracking (for seals and rubber parts), water or flue-gas leaks at the part, an error message on the controller's display (for sensors and electronic modules), or an obviously reduced function of the appliance (e.g. irregular combustion for burner parts). If in doubt, the safest option is to have the condition assessed by a service technician during the regular annual inspection.
  • Is it worth keeping this part at home as a spare/service part? For parts that are subject to regular wear (seals, fuses, small mechanical parts) and whose failure would mean a heating or hot-water outage, keeping a spare on hand is a sensible precaution - especially for an older appliance for which the part may be harder to source quickly.
