- How do I choose the correct output for a ladder radiator in the bathroom? As a rough guide, allow approximately 100 W per m² of bathroom floor area at a typical ceiling height and standard insulation; if the radiator is the sole heat source in the room, choose a higher output within this range.
- What is the difference between a water, electric and combined (dual) radiator? A water radiator is connected to the house's heating system (boiler) and only works when the heating is running; an electric radiator has its own heating rod/element and works independently of the heating (suitable, for example, outside the heating season); a combined (dual) radiator allows both modes - in winter it is heated by the boiler, while in summer or outside the season it works independently on electricity.
- Do I also need a thermostat for an electric radiator? A thermostat is not always included with the heating rod/element - if it is not, we recommend buying one separately, as it lets you regulate the temperature and save electricity instead of running constantly at full output.
- Must installation be carried out by a professional? Hanging the radiator on the wall can be handled by a skilled DIYer, but we recommend having the connection to the water heating circuit (for water and combined models) carried out by a heating engineer/plumber.

Dobry deň, chcela by som vymeniť stary rebrovy radiator za novy rebrikovy. Potrebovala by som poradiť, aky velky by zodpovedal tomu, čo mame. teraz máme výšku 60 a 8 rebier( šírka asi 40.)Ďakujem za odpoveď.

Dobrý deň, rebríkový radiátor je veľmi ťažko navrhnúť. Ak Vám môžem poradiť, tak si zoberte ten väčší, ktorý sa vám vojde na miesto, radšej ho vždy trochu pri zatvoriť, ako keby nestíhal kúpelnú vykúriť. Pekný deň.

Dobry den, v kupelni (cca 5,5m2) mam instalovane elektricke podlahove vykurovanie a chcel by som to doplnit o elektricky rebrikovy radiator. Zaujimalo by ma aky typ by bol vhodny a ci sa da odhadnut, aky je jeho vplyv na spotrebu el. energie pri beznom pouzivani. Dakujem.
