TDS Meter – Digital Tester for Measuring Dissolved Solids in Water

The digital TDS meter is an inexpensive and convenient digital tool for immediately checking the overall quality of water by measuring the total amount of dissolved solids in water (TDS = Total Dissolved Solids), which is any salt, metal, or mineral.

By pressing the HOLD button, it can tell you your overall water purity level, which is displayed on the screen in ppm (parts per million). The lower the TDS level, the purer the water, with 0 ppm being 100% pure water. The TDS meter tool is great for checking the quality of tap water or knowing when to replace a filter. (The meter does not test biological contaminants.) It is a great tool for drinking water, filtration and water purification, hydroponics (test your nutrients), aquariums, RO/DI systems, pools and spas, and more.

• The TDS meter is calibrated with a 342 ppm NaCl solution. The meter can be recalibrated using a small screwdriver. It includes a TDS chart sticker on the back of the meter explaining TDS values.
