When servicing a heating system or replacing a radiator, it is often necessary to drain only part of the system – that is exactly what the Z.SP-15 drain valve with 1/2" thread is designed for, intended for installation at the lowest point of the circuit.
The ball inside is chrome-plated and sealed with PTFE, so even after long periods in the closed position it opens easily and does not leak. The compression nut connection allows the valve to be installed without soldering and at the same time compensates for minor inaccuracies in the existing pipework.
