Where a larger volume of water needs to be drained – manifolds in the boiler room, thicker distribution pipework or more extensive radiator branches – it pays to use a larger size. The Z.SP-20 valve has a 3/4" thread and a 14 mm ball diameter, so it drains water faster than the smaller 1/2" version.
The construction remains just as reliable: a chrome-plated brass ball with a PTFE seal and a compression nut connection, which compensates for minor pipe inaccuracies and allows installation without soldering.
