Dry Run Protection SK13 for Pumps and Water Systems

The SK13 dry run protection works by monitoring the pressure at the pump outlet. The SK13 dry run protection is suitable for self-priming, surface pumps and for the vast majority of submersible pumps, including spindle submersible pumps up to 1.5 kW output. For correct use/operation of the SK13 dry run protection, a minimum outlet pressure from the pumps of 0.8 bar is required. The SK13 dry run protection restarts manually. The advantage of the SK13 dry run protection is easy installation in any (horizontal or vertical) position. The SK13 dry run protection is supplied with cables, a plug and a socket. Factory-set pressure and switch-on pressure: 0.7 bar (off) 1.2 bar (on). The device - the SK13 dry run protection - switches off the power supply when it detects a lower pressure in the system than the set pressure; if the pressure in the system exceeds the set pressure, the device switches the power supply back on. The dry run protection can be applied independently or can work together with another switch. When working with another switch, it protects the pump against pressure drop or damage caused by dry running. The SK13 dry run protection is equipped with a RESET button and provides conditional/mandatory connection of the pump. The pressure can be adjusted (figure B). Tightening the adjustment screw (arrow) increases the set pressure. Turning the adjustment screw (arrow II) decreases the set pressure.
