Ecosoft Big Blue 20" inline filter housing with air vent valve - complete set, without filter cartridge
- Ecosoft Big Blue 20" is a filter cartridge housing with an air vent valve and inch connection, designed for pre-filtration or treatment of cold water.
- Inline filtration extends the lifetime of the water treatment system, pipes, appliances, etc.
- It is made of durable, high-quality European food-grade plastic, which is also suitable for drinking water.
Using the Big Blue 20" filter
- as a pre-filter before water softeners, to protect them from mechanical impurities (sand, gravel, rust, clay, mud, etc.)
- for carbon filtration (removing chlorine and its compounds, or improving the taste and smell of water)
- or also separately with various cartridges* sized 20 x 4.5"
*Since the filter has a diameter of 4" - compared to other 20-inch filters - it has a larger filtration area, and therefore also a lower pressure drop.
The Big Blue 20" filter housing is compatible with several types of filter cartridges
- sediment filter cartridges made of pressed or wound polypropylene (PP)
- activated carbon filter cartridges (CTO, GAC)
- empty water treatment filter canisters
