Service and maintenance

The Ecosoft SCALEX filter is intended exclusively for use with cold tap water. For best results, vertical installation is recommended.

The filter lifespan is 20,000 liters or 6 months of use.

However, tap water often contains various impurities, such as sand, iron, and organic substances. Over time, these impurities can clog the filter media, preventing the release of active anti-scaling components into the water. This means that although the active substance

Why replacement matters: Tap water can contain impurities (sand, iron, organic substances) which can, over time, reduce the effectiveness of releasing active components into the water. Therefore, we recommend replacing the cartridge every 6 months to ensure continuous protection.

Before first use: Flush the filter with water for 2–5 minutes to remove residual particles.
